Hook Rune
A mark of forced direction — where attachment becomes command, and movement belongs to what pulled first.
HOOK RUNE • THE ACT OF PULLING
Once it binds, escape is no longer a choice.
Hook Rune is not a symbol of “capture” in the physical sense — it represents directional ownership. Once the hook is set, the path stops belonging to the one who moves.
In Calipso lore, this mark appears in contracts that cannot be renegotiated, in chains that do not loosen, and in systems where momentum is borrowed — then collected with interest.
The hook does not ask for consent. It establishes a new gravity: the pulled becomes proof, and resistance becomes part of the mechanism that drags.
