The Broken Zone is not “ruin.” Ruin still remembers what it used to be. This is where form loses permission to remain stable — where the world begins to contradict itself in small, silent ways.
Paths loop without distance. Angles sharpen, then dissolve. Names become difficult to hold. What enters does not always return as the same thing — not because it is destroyed, but because the rules that define “the same” begin to fail.
This is the realm the canon points to when it wants to warn you: the system can break. And when it breaks, it does not scream. It simply stops agreeing with you.
